SIWES REVIEW BY THE PIONEER STUDENTS
The Industrial Training (IT) was a great experience for me because of the practical nature of computer science. I am indeed, proud and glad to be one of the pioneer students that went for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). UZOMA CLINTON, DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE.
The SIWES was absolutely a wonderful experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to see the practical aspect of all I have been studying in school and how it is applicable in real life. I believe that SIWES is a programme that should be encouraged globally and in all departments. ODOZOR LOVETH, DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE.
I am glad that my department took part in the SIWES programme. I really learnt a lot in the six months industrial training (IT). It really helped to improve my level of understanding of the interface between Plant and Chemical Science and the wider world.
CHINYERE IKECHUKWU, DEPARTMENT OF PLANT AND CHEMICAL SCIENCES.
