Dr. Chika Hope Ogbufo hails from Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
She was a teacher, part-time lecturer, counselor and an Education Officer (Supervisor of Schools) and retired in 2015 as a Director of Education, Minutes Production Unit (Secretariat) of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Awka in Anambra State.
Upon retirement from Civil Service, she was employed in the Registry Department of Hezekiah University to head the Admissions Unit from November 2, 2015 to November 2, 2017 when the mantle of administration was handed over to her as the Acting Registrar of the Institution.
She has served and continued to serve as mother surrogate to a number of students in the Institution. Dr. Chika Ogbufo is also making waves in Educational issues. She is a prolific writer, a voracious reader and a dynamic speaker. She has contributed a great deal in the development of education in the country through her numerous educational newspaper, magazine publications, journal articles, research works in Educational issues, paper presentations in workshops/seminars, and many book publications and book chapters.
She has published over twenty (20) articles in educational issues in newspapers, magazines and newsletters and nine (9) books.
She is an experienced administrator and the Secretary to Governing Council, Congregation, JUPEB Board, Central Admission Committee and member of other committees of the Senate of Hezekiah University.
